About Us
Billie Wells is the creator of the 12 Winning Secrets to Wealth: How to Raise a Teenage Millionaire. She specializes in writing about financial education for teens and young people. Billie believes that all kids, regardless of race or gender, can easily become

financially independent if they learn the time tested secrets of accumulating wealth at an early age. As a writer, she creates manuals with concise financial principles in easy to understand language and specific exercises your young person can use to give purpose to their life and money.
Billie's philosophy is that money should be treasured and should be fun. It does not need to be a struggle, which it is for the majority of Americans and was for her for many years. Throughout her twenties and thirties she took what she learned from her parents - how to borrow and stay in debt - to a whole new level as credit became more plentiful in America. She ended up at 40 struggling with over $40,000 in debt. But she spent the next nine years learning time-honored principles of managing money, and pulled her father and herself out of debt. She learned that she did not need to forsake fun and excitement for financial prosperity.
Paying off over $80,000 in debt for both her and her father, she learned time honored wisdom about money, how to have fun and build wealth the commonsense way. The struggle with money was supplanted with true happiness and a life of significance and financial prosperity that had never before existed in her family. And what's more, it is easier than we are led to believe if we learn how to give, save and spend with a purpose and a plan to become financially independent. She has made it her goal to give young people the knowledge of how to build wealth all the while having fun.
Billie's mission is to teach teens that any ordinary kid can achieve ordinary wealth - if they know how. She teaches parents and teens how to do just that and how to use life planning and maps to have financial wealth while living a life of success and significance.
She lives in Asheville, North Carolina, with her young daughter.
